Creative Spark Engineering was founded by mechanical design engineer Rodney Sparks in 2008.  It started as a "side job", but in 2009, he went full-time with the business.  Along the way, a network of collaborating consultants was built, which is why, even though CSE is currently a one-person company, it's referred to as "we" rather than "I".  Most of the core work is done in-house, but collaboration among us consultants is key to reaching all of the corners of the required skill set in order to provide clients with the best result.  Consultants we work with specialize in embedded control systems, firmware and software development, mechanical design, mechanical and electrical testing, industrial design, and graphic arts.  Whether we are the primary contractor managing a design effort, a subcontractor to someone else, or one of several contractors being managed by you, we can provide the solution you're after.

Since 2004, we have designed and built many mechanical and multi-disciplinary systems including portable and stationary hydrogen fuel cell power systems, three different types of chemical-based hydrogen generation systems, electromechanical and unpowered ophthalmoscopes, aftermarket automotive fuel injection equipment, electromechanical blood processing devices, single-use FDA Class II medical devices, USAF ground support equipment (GSE), and high-end lifestyle products.  Building on my 12 years and some of my collaborators' 30+ years of intensive and multi-disciplinary engineering experience, we at CSE are poised to bring you, our prospective client, great solutions to your product design needs.
